The Industrial Mechanic at Retech Systems LLC is responsible for assembling, testing, servicing, and installing metallurgical processing equipment globally. This involves reading technical instructions and assembly drawings, assisting in the assembly of utility infrastructure like chamber weldments, steel structures, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and performing troubleshooting as needed. The role includes potential welding assistance, rigging, plumbing tasks such as threading pipes and bending hydraulic tubing, and conducting installations and troubleshooting at customer sites. Additionally, the mechanic performs preventative maintenance on machinery according to manufacturer recommendations, utilizes various tools, and collaborates with facility and production managers for scheduling downtime.
