The Industrial Mechanic performs general fitting, maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting on production plants and machines in slag management, independently executes work orders, and operates forklifts and ground-operated overhead cranes. The role requires industrial-mechanic vocational training, several years of professional experience, welding and gas-torch knowledge, a class B driver’s license or higher, and strong communication skills; a forklift and crane certificate is advantageous.
