Description
The Industrial Mechanic will perform repairs, maintenance, assembly, troubleshooting, and fault rectification on extrusion-plant systems and machines, including extrusion presses, pumps, stretching benches, accumulator and furnace systems, oil-service systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic controls. The role also involves preparing and repairing spare parts, occasional welding, fabrication of mechanical components for presses and fixtures, and support for operating staff. Candidates need vocational training as an industrial mechanic or comparable training, at least three years of experience with extrusion-plant systems and service/maintenance troubleshooting, knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and control engineering, and familiarity with occupational safety, environmental protection, and quality requirements.
