Description
The Industrial Painter prepares, cleans, masks, and paints custom-ordered and custom-manufactured metal buildings and metal products. The role includes mixing paints and coatings, operating spray guns and other painting equipment, applying primers and finish coatings, inspecting equipment, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and training new painters and painter helpers. It requires three years of prior industrial painting experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work in enclosed spaces, stand for long periods, work at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds. The stated salary is $21-$32 per hour.
