The position involves supporting pipefitters with pipe fit-up, learning the trade under journeyman direction, operating equipment such as a skid steer, troubleshooting, organizing work areas, and taking part in safety activities. Candidates must live within 100 km of Lamont, hold a valid Class 5 licence with a clean abstract and reliable transportation, and complete alcohol and drug screening, safety training, identification, and CSA-approved safety boots before their first shift.
