Description
The Valve Machinist will repair, modify, and fabricate industrial valve components in a machine shop and at customer sites using manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and portable field tools. The role includes precision machining, dimensional inspection, troubleshooting, customer communication, equipment maintenance, and work in varied operating conditions. It requires an associate’s degree or equivalent industrial plant experience, at least five years of manual machining experience, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, precision-measuring skills, a valid driver’s license, and 50% travel across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia with 25% overnight stays.
