Description
The Infection Preventionist oversees daily infection prevention activities across the Premier Partners system and hospital community to reduce infection risk for patients, staff, and visitors. The role collaborates with clinical and non-patient-care teams and applies CMS, CDC, OSHA, ODH, APIC, TJC, and EPA guidelines and standards. It requires a bachelor’s degree, current Ohio Registered Nurse licensure if applicable, three years of acute-care hospital clinical experience, and knowledge of NHSN and clinical and administrative databases; infection-control certification and a master’s degree in a relevant discipline are preferred.
