Description

Encode, Inc. is hiring an Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) in Melbourne, Florida, for a 100% onsite 9/80 schedule. The role supports the design, implementation, operation, and sustainment of secure enterprise network systems and managed infrastructure, including configuration management, system testing, packet and log analysis, Tier 2 support, and compliance with NIST and related federal security requirements. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: At least 2 years of relevant experience for bachelor’s-degree candidates
0–2 years of relevant experience for graduate-degree candidates
At least 4 years of prior relevant experience for candidates without a degree
At least 1 year of enterprise networking experience
At least 1 year of network or security troubleshooting experience
Experience with engineering, configuration management, or change management practices
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with network security technologies
Familiarity with NIST, FISMA, or federal cybersecurity frameworks
Experience reviewing packet captures, logs, and event data
Familiarity with SIEM platforms and event monitoring
