VIVA HEALTH is hiring an Information Security Development Engineer in Birmingham, Alabama to integrate security, risk management, and automation throughout the software development lifecycle. The role focuses on secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated security testing, monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability remediation, observability, and compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS requirements. The engineer will also perform risk assessments, security architecture reviews, and provide guidance to development and operations teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least four years of DevSecOps or security-focused site reliability engineering experience, and expertise with major cloud platforms, CI/CD tools, infrastructure as code, security tooling, networking, identity and access management, and secure architecture.
