Lam Research is hiring an Information Security Engineer to support the engineering, implementation, and ongoing operation of enterprise security platforms. The role maintains and optimizes security tool configurations, improves detection, prevention, and response capabilities, identifies and remediates security gaps, participates in security reviews, develops operational metrics, and collaborates with Security Operations, IT, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 8 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience, along with 2–4 years of Information Security or IT Engineering experience and hands-on experience with security tools and platforms. The position offers hybrid work models and a California San Francisco Bay Area salary range of $92,000 to $211,000.
