Description

HICX is hiring an Information Security Manager to lead its internal IT function and own the company’s information security strategy, ISMS, compliance, incident response, privacy, vendor risk, and security awareness programs. The role reports to the CFO and involves managing a small IT support team, maintaining security controls and documentation, supporting audits and customer assurance, and working cross-functionally with engineering, DevOps, HR, and customer-facing teams. The position is remote from Bucharest, Romania, for a globally distributed SaaS company, with strong emphasis on SOC 2, ISO 27001, cloud security, and data protection experience.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Senior information security leadership experience
Experience building and maintaining an ISMS with SOC 2 and ISO 27001

Internal IT operations and team management experience
Preferred Qualifications: Security certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor
Experience with IT support operations and SaaS administration
Cloud security expertise
Ability to work autonomously in a remote international team
Strong communication skills
