Description
The Information Security Officer will serve as the Information Security Officer’s right-hand person, taking full control in replacement situations and supporting information security operations, policies, ISMS documentation, security awareness, incident management, emergency preparedness, and data protection. The role requires at least 32 hours per week, offers 100% remote work from the candidate’s main residence in Germany, and welcomes temporary work abroad with occasional office visits in Jena. Candidates should have information security and IT knowledge, familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001 and related standards, strong German communication skills, and the ability to translate complex security topics for non-technical audiences.
