Description
The Unisys Information Security Officer provides cybersecurity leadership for a client, serving as the functional lead for a matrixed team of security professionals and the primary contact for the client’s CISO, agency leadership, and stakeholders. The role covers security delivery, governance, compliance, risk management, incident response, security architecture, training, and strategic cybersecurity guidance, with a requirement for a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years of cybersecurity or information assurance experience, CISSP certification, and experience with NIST frameworks, Virginia security standards, Zero Trust, risk assessments, audits, and incident response. The position is onsite with the possibility of working 1–2 days per week remotely.
