Description

Bloomberg is hiring an Information Security Risk Manager in New York to support independent second-line oversight and credible challenge of cybersecurity risks across the firm. The role assesses security risks and controls, reviews security programs against enterprise risk standards and regulatory expectations, analyzes findings and incidents, develops risk recommendations, and supports risk assessments, reporting, metrics, and governance materials. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, at least five years of relevant security or technology experience, knowledge of cybersecurity controls and frameworks, strong communication and collaboration skills, and authorization to work in the United States. The salary range is 160,000–215,000 USD annually plus benefits and bonus.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of relevant experience in Security Engineering, Security Architecture, Application Security, Cyber Defense, or a related technical discipline
Experience assessing technology or security risks and communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting assessments in Information Security, Technology Risk, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Security Architecture, or another technology control function
Relevant technical or professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GIAC, or FAIR
Familiarity with enterprise risk management concepts and risk assessment methodologies
Experience within a regulated industry, including financial services
