Description
The Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) III supports the development, maintenance, and execution of Risk Management Framework (RMF) security plans and processes for federal information systems. Responsibilities include RMF authorization activities, vulnerability and risk assessments, STIG and SRG compliance, security patching, configuration and change management, asset inventory, vulnerability remediation, and reporting compliance issues. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent STEM field, seven years of relevant information security experience, and an IAT-III certification.
