Description
Independent Software is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support their information assurance program. The ISSO will be responsible for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies. They will also maintain the operational security posture of an information system, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Key duties include monitoring and analyzing Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), conducting regular audits, developing and testing security software, and performing system audits and vulnerability assessments.
