Description
The City of San Diego is hiring an Information Systems Manager to supervise professional information systems, programmer, and analytical support staff; develop, test, implement, and modify complex distributed information systems; prepare and present budgets; train and rate subordinates; and perform other assigned duties. The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent education, six years of full-time professional-level information systems planning management experience within the last eight years, including three years at an Information Systems Analyst IV or higher level, and experience managing large-scale systems, IT policies, budgets, RFPs, and professional IT staff. A valid California Class C Driver License may be required, and successful candidates are placed on a list to fill vacancies during the next six months.
