Blacksmith is hiring an Infrastructure Capacity Planning Manager to own capacity planning across compute, storage, networking, and datacenter infrastructure. The role involves forecasting infrastructure demand, partnering with engineering, developing regional deployment plans, managing hardware and datacenter vendor relationships, leading procurement and infrastructure expansion, and building scalable planning processes. The position requires experience with large-scale infrastructure and capacity planning, strong analytical and vendor-management skills, and in-person work five days per week in San Francisco or New York City.
