Contact Energy is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to support Linux and Windows servers, VMware, Ansible automation, hardware lifecycle activities, and networking. The role works across a broad technology landscape in a collaborative squad with cloud and infrastructure specialists, delivery leads, product owners, and technology teams. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server environments, VMware, Ansible or similar automation, infrastructure platforms, and stakeholder communication; enterprise-scale, networking, physical infrastructure, and technology migration experience are bonuses. The role is best suited to someone who can work flexibly from Wellington, Auckland, or Tauranga, may include an on-call roster, and requires the right to live and work in New Zealand.
