Description

Decagon is hiring a full-time Infrastructure Engineer to build and operate core infrastructure, platform engineering, and deployment systems for its agentic AI products. The role focuses on cloud and Kubernetes platforms, customer-owned cloud deployments, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, rollback, reliability, and collaboration with customers and internal teams. Candidates should have at least four years of relevant infrastructure or DevOps experience, strong cloud and networking knowledge, and experience operating production systems. The position offers a $200,000–$400,000 base salary plus equity and benefits.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 4 years of experience building and operating core infrastructure, platform engineering, or infrastructure/DevOps, ideally with customer-facing deployment experience.
Deep experience with a major cloud provider, Terraform, and Kubernetes at scale.
Experience operating production systems reliably, including monitoring, on-call, incident response, and failure-mode analysis.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing deployments in customer-owned cloud environments, including security reviews, compliance requirements, and change management.
Experience building internal platforms or paved roads, including service templates, self-serve environments, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
Familiarity with observability and incident management in distributed systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
Infrastructure-as-code with a security-minded approach to supply chain, including provenance, secrets, and least privilege.
Experience operating latency-sensitive or ML/AI-serving workloads in production.
Experience using AI-assisted tooling to improve personal and team effectiveness.
