Description
The Infrastructure Engineer will operate, administer, and develop LAN/WAN/VPN infrastructures, firewall systems, VMware vCenter, NetApp storage, and Veeam backup and recovery solutions at the Galileo Control Centre in Oberpfaffenhofen. The role includes monitoring, fault analysis, performance optimization, incident resolution, audits, disaster recovery planning, and access-architecture development. It requires an IT-related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, fluent German and good English, LAN and firewall administration experience, VMware, NetApp, Proxmox, and Palo Alto expertise, and willingness to participate in on-call duty.
