Description
OpenAI is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure and distributed services that run its API across cloud service provider platforms. The role involves launching and operating model-serving environments, planning and optimizing capacity, creating repeatable release and validation processes, developing reusable infrastructure abstractions, and owning production health through observability, incident diagnosis, reliability improvements, and automation. The engineer will work with inference, API, infrastructure, security, and CSP teams, with a background in cloud infrastructure or distributed systems and at least seven years of relevant experience.
