Planet is hiring a full-time, remote Infrastructure Engineer for its Direct Access Service Infrastructure team. The role builds, deploys, and operates compute services and infrastructure for satellite imaging operations in customer on-premises and cloud environments, including air-gapped deployments, service orchestration, reliability, scalability, troubleshooting, and on-call operations. Candidates need at least six years of cloud-native infrastructure experience, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field, and expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Kustomize, CI/CD, distributed-systems observability, and Python or Bash.
