Sphere is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to solve scaling, performance, and latency problems for its mission-critical trade-compliance platform. The role involves defining tooling, participating in on-call production support, working with customers on availability requirements, and building database, queue, container orchestration, cloud-native, Terraform, and other infrastructure systems. Candidates need experience managing large Kubernetes clusters, shipping high-availability architectures, and working with Postgres at scale; Python, transaction-data experience, developer-experience focus, and strong attention to detail are preferred. The position is based in San Francisco.
