Sterling Computers Corporation is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer in Manchester, England, to own and secure the Omnissa Horizon virtual desktop platform, thin clients, and managed laptops across the United Kingdom. The role covers VDI management, image and application delivery, thin-client deployment and hardening, endpoint security and patching, capacity planning, troubleshooting, upgrades, compliance, and operational documentation. It requires significant hands-on experience with Horizon, thin clients, Windows endpoints, VMware vSphere, Active Directory, networking, and security hardening, along with a current UK government SC security clearance and the ability to undergo Developed Vetting. Regular travel to customer sites is expected.
