The Systems Engineer performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for total systems, including information technology design, development, and analysis. The role translates customer requirements into hardware and software specifications, supports system lifecycles, and requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance, adjudicated polygraph, 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification, and experience with Windows, RHEL, cyber compliance, development environments, and project completion.
