Description
The Infrastructure Engineer will build and operate scalable backend systems supporting Dropbox's metadata, data-fabric, analytics, and infrastructure platforms. Responsibilities include managing hundreds of billions of files, petabytes of user data, millions of concurrent connections, interoperability across applications and services, and improving performance, reliability, and security. The role requires a degree in computer science or a related technical field, at least five years of professional software development experience, and expertise in large-scale distributed systems, multiple programming languages, operating systems, filesystems, databases, networks, and compilers. Preferred familiarity includes semaphores and mutexes. The listed compensation is 272,000–368,000 PLN in Poland.
