AWS is hiring a Support Engineer for its Infrastructure Reliability Engineering Organisation. The role involves troubleshooting customer-related issues, applying Linux expertise, managing support tickets and SLAs, analyzing root causes and trends, improving operational procedures and documentation, and collaborating with software and service teams on patching, migrations, and system updates. Candidates need software development or technical support experience, modern programming-language scripting, and troubleshooting and debugging experience; knowledge of web services, distributed systems, RAID, REST, XML, and JSON is preferred. The position requires UK nationality and the ability to obtain and maintain a UK Government Security Clearance.
