Description

The Infusion Nurse provides comprehensive infusion care for oncology patients, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and related biological agents. Responsibilities include patient assessment, symptom management, IV and port access, informed consent, triage, follow-up care, patient and family education, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires an associate’s degree or higher in Nursing, a current District of Columbia nursing license, and ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy/Immunotherapy certification; prior oncology nursing experience and vascular access familiarity are preferred. The position requires working a minimum of six shifts within each 12 weeks.
