Description
An Infusion Nurse, Independent Contractor provides care to patients, including primary care, education, and coordination with in-house RN staff for care plan development and revision. They assess patient needs, perform physical assessments, implement care plans, and educate patients and families. The nurse also manages infusion access devices, reports changes in patient condition, and coordinates patient care with the healthcare team. They maintain high standards of nursing care, manage patient supplies, complete documentation, and adhere to infection control guidelines. Additionally, they report adverse events and suspected breaches of regulatory requirements.
