ALTEN is hiring a final-year or gap-year Data Science or Operations Research intern for its Sèvres Lab to work on an R&D project studying reactive assembly-line balancing. The intern will analyze virtual factory logistics and production flows, model disruptions, develop decision-support and dynamic reconfiguration algorithms, evaluate management strategies, contribute to an interactive digital twin, and integrate AI and LLM approaches. The internship lasts six months, is based in France, and offers a gross monthly stipend of €1,300 plus meal vouchers and covered public transportation costs.
