e4health is hiring an Inpatient Coder for full-time or part-time, non-exempt work. The role abstracts and enters inpatient clinical data, assigns ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes, POA indicators, discharge dispositions, and queries physicians or clinical documentation staff as needed. Candidates must hold an approved AHIMA or AAPC coding credential, have at least three years of inpatient acute-care coding experience, three years of United States coding experience, and proficiency in ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS. The position is remote and requires an approved credential, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, and paid time off benefits.
