Description
FusionHCR is seeking an experienced Inpatient Coder to review and code complex inpatient medical records, identify coding opportunities and discrepancies, support reimbursement and clinical data integrity, monitor coding trends, and prepare technical reports. The role requires at least three years of inpatient coding experience in an acute-care hospital setting, a high school diploma or equivalent, and certification as a CCS, RHIA, or RHIT. Responsibilities include coding with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9-CM; applying Medicare IPPS and MS-DRG rules; using EHR and 3M 360 or similar systems; managing denials and documentation quality; and communicating findings to stakeholders.
