Nesco Resource is hiring a fully remote, full-time Inpatient Coder for a healthcare organization. The role involves assigning ICD-10-CM/PCS diagnosis and procedure codes, applying UHDDS, MS-DRG, and APR-DRG methodologies, identifying POA indicators and hospital-acquired conditions, preparing physician queries, resolving coding and pre-bill edits, and maintaining documentation quality. Candidates need at least five years of inpatient coding experience, extensive MS-DRG and APR-DRG experience, and experience in a large acute-care hospital system; AHIMA certification, an associate's degree, Epic EMR, and 3M coding software experience are preferred. Compensation is up to $65,000 plus benefits.
