Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer will use mechanical design engineering skills to develop Magic products for the iPad and Mac ecosystems. The role involves defining product architectures and kinematic behaviors, integrating mechanisms and electromechanical components, collaborating with industrial design, hardware, software, product integrity, technology, manufacturing, and vendor teams, and ensuring design quality through stress and tolerance analysis, DFMEA, prototyping, testing, and failure analysis. The position requires at least two years of mechanical engineering design experience, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related major, and approximately 10–15% international travel.
