Description
The Housing Quality Standard (HQS) Inspections Manager supervises the SMOC Rental Assistance Inspections department, including HQS inspectors and the HQS Coordinator. The role oversees inspection scheduling and completion, audits, compliance verification, training, data entry in YARDI, landlord and tenant compliance, stakeholder relationships, and administrative duties. It requires a bachelor's degree preferred, 1–2 years of housing program experience, 1–2 years managing staff preferred, Nan McKay HQS certification, knowledge of Microsoft Office, and a valid Massachusetts driver's license. The position works Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 35 hours per week, with significant time spent inspecting units in varied conditions.
