Description
Altek Electronics is hiring an AOI Inspector to inspect PCB parts, assemblies, sub-assemblies, and finished products against IPC, J-STD, internal, and customer quality standards. The role includes reviewing AOI detection of SMT paste, component placement, and solder defects; loading inspection programs; using magnification and stereo-microscopes; identifying and segregating nonconforming materials; completing inspection reports; and supporting quality problem resolution. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, soldering experience or training, and J-Std or IPC-A-610 certification or successful completion of an agreed certification program. The position involves lifting materials up to 30 pounds and standing for up to eight hours, with medical, dental, vision, life, and retirement benefits.
