Description
The Aerospace Inspector performs final, operational, and in-process inspections of specialized systems on completed aerospace vehicles, including electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, power-plant, rigging, controls, and structural systems. The role evaluates work for quality, completeness, proper function, and specification compliance; rejects or orders rework; and inspects material-review items after disposition. Required qualifications include engineering-drawing interpretation, precision measurement, computer-program use, and an Inspector Assessment, while desired qualifications include aerospace manufacturing knowledge, surveillance or oversight inspection experience, shift flexibility, and six years of military or general aviation maintenance experience.
