Lockheed Martin is hiring an F-35 Aircraft Inspector for the Quality Assurance Support Team at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland. The role inspects aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, material review, and final acceptance work for quality, completeness, proper function, and compliance with procedures and specifications; it may also include surveillance inspections and up to 10% travel for off-site testing. The position requires an Interim Secret and ultimately a Secret security clearance, five years of aviation maintenance with quality control or assurance experience, at least three years of aircraft ground operations on an active flight line, and experience with engineering documentation, audits, inspections, and reporting.
