Description
The Port Inspector reviews vessel inspection files, ensures inspections follow approved procedures, prepares tools and documentation, checks vessel arrival and berthing status, reviews draft field reports, updates operations executives, maintains equipment, and reports discrepancies. The role may supervise inspection teams and trainees and follows SGS health, safety, and environment requirements. A minimum SPM qualification is required, with 3–5 years of experience preferred; candidates without SPM must pass an Inspector Quality Assessment.
