Description
The Port Inspector reviews job files, ensures inspections follow approved procedures, prepares tools and documentation, checks vessel arrival and berthing status, organizes draft field reports, supports daily operations, maintains equipment, and reports discrepancies. The role may supervise inspection teams and provide guidance to trainees or junior inspectors. It requires at least SPM education, preferably 3–5 years of experience, and an Inspector Quality Assessment for candidates without the minimum academic qualification.
