Description
The Construction Inspector inspects construction activities and enforces Harris County plans, specifications, and regulations. The role works outdoors in all weather, observes construction phases, inspects storm sewer manholes and inlets, maintains an assigned vehicle, and supports disaster recovery and emergency response. It requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's or associate's degree in engineering, architecture, or a closely related field, along with construction, regulatory, and computer skills.
