Description
AECOM is hiring a Construction Field Inspector for immediate employment in its Grand Rapids, Michigan office to inspect and oversee transportation construction projects, including bridges, roads, traffic signals, signage, intelligent transportation systems, and underground facilities. The role monitors contractor work and materials, verifies traffic-control measures, maintains inspection records, participates in testing and commissioning, and may assist with training entry-level employees. The position requires a high school education plus two years of related experience or equivalent experience and education, an MVR check, a valid driver's license, and MDOT certifications or the ability to earn them within six months. Weekend and night work and overnight travel within Michigan may be required, and sponsorship is not available.
