Description
The Optical Fiber Inspector tests and inspects optical fiber and sub-cables during production, using OTDR equipment and manual inspection to verify length, breaks, attenuation, wall thickness, diameter, concentricity, print, and color. The role evaluates inspection data, completes paperwork, supports customer service and quality initiatives, and requires a high school diploma or GED, related experience or training, and the ability to work in a production environment. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday, with some flexibility, overtime availability, a 33-hour weekly schedule, and full-time benefits.
