Description
The FAA Repairman inspects products using visual and measurement methods, interprets paperwork and certifications, and verifies compliance with Repair Station requirements. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience or training, and the ability to work in a warehouse, including lifting up to 50 pounds and using hand tools and precision measuring equipment. Aviation experience, an FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings, and experience in FAR Part 145 repair stations are preferred; eligibility to obtain an FAA Repairman Certificate is also required.
