Description
The role inspects incoming and outgoing aircraft materials, components, and shipments; sets up and calibrates equipment; evaluates work against FAA and customer standards; approves completed work; and maintains safe, clean, and documented repair-station operations. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification or eligibility for an FAA Repairman certificate, at least five years of heavy-transport aircraft technician or inspector experience, knowledge of applicable FAA regulations, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in a hazardous environment.
