Description
Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a Final Assembly Inspector to work hands-on in a production setting supporting the build and test of missiles. The role inspects mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, oil, heat, and brake systems; validates workmanship, dimensions, and documentation; disposes of parts for testing or further inspection; rejects nonconforming hardware; maintains inspection logs and reports; and supports quality activities. The position requires a high school degree or equivalent, US citizenship, the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, and proficiency with inspection equipment and product specifications. Desired qualifications include SAP or ERP, VECAMS, inspection and QA, GD&T, test acceptance, missile or flight-vehicle experience, and Microsoft Office skills. The full-time salary range is $56,600 to $105,000, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
