Description
The Steel Structure Inspector inspects steel erection, alignment, fit-up, welding, bolting, coatings, materials, tolerances, and related construction activities against approved drawings and tolerances. The role coordinates inspections with engineers, QA/QC, HSE, and contractors; manages ITPs, NCRs, RFIs, and corrective actions; supports lifting and installation activities; and maintains inspection records and site documentation. The position requires a civil engineering diploma or bachelor's degree and 7–10 years of inspection experience across industrial, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, or steel structure projects, along with experience in structural steel fabrication and erection, precast concrete, reinforced concrete foundations, building envelope systems, and QA/QC procedures.
