Description
Michigan State University is hiring 4–6 fixed-term faculty members for the School of Social Work in East Lansing and statewide blended sites. The roles teach social work practice methods, human behavior and the social environment, social welfare policy, and research methods, and may be face-to-face or online. Responsibilities include revising course materials, teaching, assessing student learning, holding office hours, using D2L and University Instructor Systems, grading, and communicating with students. Applicants must have a doctorate in social work, an MSW for instructor ranks, or a Ph.D. for assistant, associate, or professor ranks by the date of employment, plus teaching experience; educational technology experience is desired. Applications were open from April 1, 2026 through March 25, 2028.
