Description

YESCO, a family-owned sign company with over 100 years of experience, is seeking an experienced Installation Journeyman I. The successful candidate will lead and perform all phases of sign installation, requiring advanced technical skills, the ability to operate heavy equipment like cranes and aerial lifts, and expertise in safely completing complex installations. Responsibilities include reviewing project plans, welding components, rigging signs, directing crews, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Minimum 5 years of sign installation or closely related construction experience
Preferred Qualifications: NCCCO Crane Certification
Welding certification (preferably 3G-SMAW and 5F-FCAW)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and welding equipment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct crew members
Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions
Reliable attendance and willingness to travel as needed
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Climb, crawl, bend, and work at heights
Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks in various environments
Use of hands and arms for reaching, handling, and operating tools
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and perform a variety of tasks as needed
